What does it mean now that I'm on the waitlist?

If you are entered into a queueing system when you visit a Republic offering, don’t worry, you will be admitted to the offering pages on a first-come-first-serve basis as intended. This measure is in place to keep an orderly process and ease the strain on the site during this surge of traffic for the offering.

If the offering is in high demand, we will not be able to accommodate all interested investors. If the offering is oversubscribed, you will have the option to join the waitlist. If and when previously committed investors fall out of the offering due to inability to fund their accounts or confirm their identity or accredited status, space will be opened up to the waitlist on a first-come-first-serve basis. Your place in the waitlist will be processed if sufficient allocation opens up that matches your intended investment amount.

While you're on the waitlist, make sure your identity verification is complete, that your investment limit is up to date in account settings. You'll also be prompted for a payment method but you will not be charged for the investment until you're off the waitlist. For wire payments, you'll receive wire instructions via email for proceeding with your investment

Wondering what will happen to your spot on the waitlist if the site is down? No need to worry, your spot will be maintained. The queueing system is not affected by our site traffic and will place you on the Republic pages as soon as your turn arrives and the site is ship-shape.
